CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH

This modular fashion textile study analyzes how hand-linked joinery can non-destructively regenerate into a variety of individual garments by continuously recycling its pre-existing elements. Not only is this proposal stylistically thrilling, but involves contributing volunteers of all sizes, backgrounds and ages.

Over the course of ten consecutive weeks, ten unique garments are re-constructed using the same jump rings, pliers and acrylic roundels over and over again. This study serves as a deep dive for understanding varying body types, design capabilities and intellectually adapting to challenging technical investigations.
