Chrysalis is the third and final look in the series of acrylic garments.
A “Chrysalis” shrouds a caterpillar at the end of its first phase of life, functioning as a protective casing in the caterpillar’s private transformation in becoming a butterfly. The process of creating this garment is an allegorical juxtaposition between past and present. The context of its design serves as a symbolic catalyst through newfound development in transitional moments of life.
Chrysalis is recognized for textile innovation by Texintel, Surface Design Association, ArtsThread, GUCCI & CFDA.
